Anyone who wants to work on mini program development needs to master HTML, CSS and JavaScript, plus at least a working knowledge of a server-side language and a database.
1. HTML, CSS and JavaScript. HTML, short for hypertext markup language, is one of the three core front-end technologies and provides the skeleton of a page, much as a skeleton supports an animal. CSS controls appearance: how content is laid out, the background of a block, colours and other visual questions. JavaScript is a dynamic scripting language that has become one of the most active languages in use. All three are essential for mini program development.
2. A server-side language. Unless you are a dedicated back-end developer this can be difficult, and the learning curve is steep. It is still worth learning enough of one to understand the general framework and follow the logic of the code, which makes front-end and back-end cooperation work better and helps when a bug appears. Common choices are PHP, Java, Python and ASP; pick according to what the company already uses.
3. A database. If the company’s data volume is modest and the architecture is simple, database work is comparatively easy: learning a set of common commands and the problems that come up most often is enough to get by. Common databases include the free MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB and Oracle.
