How Long Does It Take to Build a Mini Program?

The development time for a mini program depends on the requirements, the type and the functions involved. A few simple examples make the pattern clear.

Showcase. A showcase mini program usually needs only corporate presentation and content publishing. With fewer functions the build is shorter, and a showcase program is typically completed within one month.

Healthcare. Healthcare mini programs generally include hospital and doctor profiles, appointment registration, payment and report retrieval. With more functions the cycle is correspondingly longer, typically about one to one and a half months.

Dining. Dining mini programs usually include location, reservation, queue numbers, ordering, payment, coupons and a membership system. Because the function set is larger, the cycle extends as well, at roughly one to two months.

Shopping. Shopping mini programs generally include product display, payment, order printing and lookup, logistics tracking and a shopping cart. Again the function set is larger, so the cycle is longer, typically one to two months.

These examples give an approximate idea only. Even within one type of mini program, different requirements mean different timelines.
